MOST EMBARRASSING MOMENT:
I am a retired firefighter. During my career I was the regular driver of an
aerial Platform truck, the largest piece of apparatus the city owned…. It
was worth about 400,000 dollars. One day after fueling the truck I turned
too quickly and caught the platform (the bucket) of the truck on an
adjacent basketball pole. This put the truck out of service for over a month
for repairs. The guys all joked with me that due to the severe angle of the
basketball goal I could now dunk the ball…. I wanted to just crawl in a hole!
